Blog Post: DRP’s Huminga on MTV’s Emerge
11/13/09DRP’s Huminga on MTV’s Emerge
I don’t often listen to rap, especially not Tagalog rap. I don’t have anything against the language of my forefathers’, but face it, a lot of the local rap artists are novelty acts. Plus, my prejudices have been colored by years of riding jeepneys blasting pop radio stations with their silly come ons and annoying station IDs. I can’t stand Mr. Fu.
It’s nice to find a group that I can actually stomach. Checkout DRP, contestants in MTV’s Emerge.
I first heard their stuff when my co-worker asked me what I thought of his lyrics. Now like I said, I’m not a huge fan of rap, but I thought they were pretty good.
Check them out at the links below and vote for them if you like em.

If you're looking for biased, one-sided views of toys and other assorted geekery, then you're in the right place. If you want objective, you'll need a blog written by someone who isn't an obsessive geek.
These are my views on various toys, movies, places, and things, along with assorted pictures and the the occasional link to stuff I find sufficiently geeky.
Enjoy your stay and leave a comment.

I was present last November 27 @ MOA and saw their performance live… They suck live. It is very obvious that they heavily relied on autotune to present their records. During the live performance, one of the three was eating his words and I couldn’t understand the fuck he was rapping. I commend their energy though. Great group on record, horrible on live perfomance.
