If you’ve never been to a Cybertron PH/Playkit toy event, now’s your chance.
As with every distribution of this kind, the day starts when the mall opens at 10 AM. When the the distribution sheet arrives (sometime before 11 AM usually), you sign in, check your wants, and get a number (don’t forget your number!). Then you’re free to do what you want for the next 3 hours or so until the distribution of the toys starts.
Once the stocks arrive, the guys of Cybertron PH will begin distributing the items, using the sign in sheet as their priority list and calling out names. One of each item per customer until stocks run out. Be there or be the sucker running around looking for the toy you want when they hit shelves.
I figure that the toys we’re going to see are the 4″ ones listed in the first assortment:

As of this writing there’s no official list of the Thor merchandise that will be making an appearance, but the great team at Cyb PH did tease us with these sure bets from other Playkit lines:

STAR WARS CLONE WARS (SET OF 5)
STAR WARS MOVIE (SET OF 6)
Personally, the one’s I’m looking forward to the most are these babies:
Transformers: Generations Wheeljack and Thundercracker! These are definitely on my wants list for this Saturday, along with one of those Frost Giants. I’m still on the fence about the Star Wars figures since I don’t know what restocks will be available. I might forgo them in favor of a Kup or Scourge, or any Pursuit of Cobra figures that come in. Really depends on what I see.
With the way things are going around here in the Philippine toy world, I’d say there is a fairly good chance that you’ll still see some of these figures on the pegs later. But even with the dark days of scalpers behind us, I still find going to the launches much more satisfying than weeks of work trying to complete my wants list.
